Introducing “The Professor,” Peter Rossi, founder of Professor Detail Auto Care, LLC. Peter’s passion for cars started early, earning him the nickname “the car encyclopedia” among friends. What began as childhood curiosity quickly grew into a lifelong obsession with understanding, caring for, and perfecting automobiles.

Peter discovered detailing at 13, after spending a blazing hot summer afternoon reviving his family’s old Toyota Highlander. When his father stepped back and said, “This looks like a real detail; you could turn this into a business,” the spark was lit. Soon after, Peter was offering $20 car washes to friends and family, quietly sharpening the skills that would shape his future.

In college, Peter spent his freshman year working at a local detailing garage, learning professional techniques and processes. The next year, he launched Pete’s Sac-O-Suds Mobile Auto Detailing, growing it steadily while earning a Marketing degree from Pace University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.

After a year at a New York City marketing agency, Peter made the decision to return to what he truly loved: auto detailing. He rebranded his business as Professor Detail, a professional, knowledge-driven auto care service built on expertise, precision, and a lifelong passion for delivering the highest level of detail.
